Visit The Woodlands Nature Station become involved with nature at her best.  Participate in our various programs that share the beauty and the value of the animals and plant life of the region.

 


The Woodlands Nature Station staff of certified interpreters offer programs that vary day-to-day for your benefit.

Programs that they offer include:
 

  • Backyard Tours

  • Wildlife Viewing including the Fallow Deer

Visit a family of hummingbirds as they mature from eggs to young birds at this interesting site.  Be sure to come back to the Friends of LBL site when you are finished.

Enjoy the quiet yet beautiful inland lakes of LBL in a canoe.  You can do this by yourself or as a part of a guided activity.  The sounds of nature provide a whole new experience when away from the land on a quiet, hand operated canoe.

The Woodlands Nature Station.

Visit our Environmental Education Resource Site for help in developing a better understanding or help with lesson development.
